Samsung released a new  version of its flagship Galaxy product line last month and the results are in: this phone doesn’t disappoint! The most powerful Galaxy phone yet, the Galaxy S7 (5.1″) and S7 Edge (5.5″) boast lots of hardware upgrades, including:

Water Resistant
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones were awarded the IP68 protection rating, meaning that the phones should be able to tolerate water that is up to 5 feet deep for up to 30 minutes. This is a slight improvement from the previous generations of Samsung devices that were only able to achieve IP67 protection rating (up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes).

Expandable Memory
One major advantage this device sports is the return of expandable memory via microSD cards. The user can add up to 200GB of additional memory to the 32GB device by using these inexpensive and easily transferable memory cards.

Dual-Pixel Technology
An exciting hardware update for those who take lots of photos with their phones, the new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are the first smart phones to employ dual-pixel technology. This allows the phone’s 12MP camera to take better quality photos in low light environments and auto focus in the blink of an eye.

Fast Charging & Battery
One of the most welcome changes to the Samsung line of devices, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge is fast wireless charging. Fast charge technology allows the device to safely charge much faster without potentially damaging the battery. These devices also sport Samsung’s biggest battery yet (S7 has a mAh battery, S7 Edge has a 3600mAh battery) to make sure you don’t run out of juice before the end of the day!

Android OS (6.0 Marshmallow)
The latest version of Android, Marshmallow, powers the new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. This new cutting edge OS means less battery drain from apps you don’t use and new features like Now on Tap, which learns how you use your phone and anticipates your next touch.

Samsung Pay
The widely popular Samsung Pay, which allows you to connect a supported credit or debit card to your Samsung account and pay wirelessly using NFC technology at terminals across the country is also included in the newest version of the Galaxy product line. Samsung Pay is simple, secure, and works in more places than any other mobile payment service.
